Eilts & Associates, Inc. is a Certified Public Accounting firm located in Northbrook, IL. We specialize in providing financial consulting and tax advisory services to small and medium-sized businesses. Barton Eilts, CPA - CEO & Founder

After working for 10 years in the public accounting field, Bart Eilts started his own tax and business consulting company, Eilts & Associates, Inc., in 2000. Bart has served on the board of various local not-for-profit organizations and as the treasurer for River North Business Associates, Street-Level Youth Media, and the Lookingglass Theatre Company. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration and became a Certified Public accountant in 1993. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.

Bart has been asked to give presentations to groups regarding maximizing deductions for real-estate professionals, legal professionals, and individuals in the arts and entertainment industry. He also has spoken on tax topics such as retirement planning for closely held companies and the proper choice of entity for start-up businesses.

Lauren Buccola, CPA - Partner

Lauren Buccola is a Partner at Eilts & Associates and has been part of the team since 2011. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia. After gaining several years of experience, Lauren returned to school and in 2019 received her Certified Public Accountant designation. In 2022, she was pleased to accept the opportunity to take on the role of an equity partner.

She specializes in individual and business tax preparation and also has experience with preparation of not-for-profit and trust tax returns. Her favorite part of her job is building relationships with clients and helping them grow in both their personal and professional lives. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society and can regularly be found trying to convince friends and family that taxes are fun!
